We went there for the first time in September. Delicious food, super friendly hosts, quiet rooms, so everything was right and we'd love to come back.

No matter what we ordered, everything was delicious. And, at the moment, well organized. Times are set so that the guests do not meet to pick up the food. TOP 👍🏼 It should also be mentioned that the packaging is important. Some of these bowls can be reused. Great idea 💡 and environmentally friendly. Thanks.

Today we ordered delicious goose legs with red cabbage .. croquettes .. It was delicious .. and plenty .. the small baked apple with it ... 👌 Price performance ratio absolutely ok ... We'll do it again soon ... 👍 Thanks for the tasty Sunday meal ....

Very nice stay in Zur alten Frische behind us. Incredibly delicious food and super friendly staff. It was like coming home! House itself very idyllic, rooms a bit outdated but still very functional! Our bathroom had a bath with shower. This was not a problem for us, perhaps a problem for older people to get into it? Of course we don't know what it is like in the other rooms. Thanks for the nice stay! We would love to come back someday!

A week in the old freshness! Just great. The rooms are great. The staff just great, so friendly. Walter is the cheerful and good soul of the house. You can't beat the food. It's been a long time since eaten so well and plentiful. We will be back. Thank you for everything.

Quality of the food above average excellent, as it comes from local sources. Very nice service, who also maintain nice contact. At home you can just sit on a chair with a table ... nostalgia with the best food at reasonable prices

A very hospitable hotel, great kitchen.Rooms are dated but everything neat.The charm of creaking floors is part of the beautiful half-timbered house.

We stopped the ace around 1pm, a bit by chance (it must be said that there are not many other places to eat ………): ordered wiener art escalopes and a steak: well done : first, the lady who welcomed us very funny, and the cooking at the top !!! Especially the steak (yes, in Germany often overcooked) very good experience of this place: we were by bike, good stopover

The food was delicious and very extensive. Excellent condition and an overall good evening. The restaurant is really highly recommended.

The service was fantastic! We were sitting outside as well as inside and both gave a very comfy and homey feeling. The waitress we had took very good care of us, making sure our food was up to standard and that we all had drinks. The food itself was really good, we had a big schnitzel that came with a very fresh salad and a portion big enough for 2 and käse spätzle which was also really goood. Would highly recommend this restaurant and hotel.

right accommodation to feel comfortable, price-performance ratio for the rooms, food was delicious, totally friendly and "normal" guests. Nothing "exaggerated or fake". Simply great. We can only recommend it!

Very tasty food, generous portions and great service!

It was our first time here, but definitely not the last time. The house is family run and you can tell. So warm, friendly and efficient, great. Even the grandfather is always present and absolutely unique. The rooms are quaint, the food delicious. There is always a loose, funny saying.

I went to eat there when I was on vacation. Outside, several seating areas invite you to linger. I sat down outside and waited for about 20 minutes for a waitress. Then I leave very small in the showcase that there is no service outside. So I went in and was quite astonished. The restaurant was full of people and there wasn't a table that wasn't occupied. A waitress came up to me and I asked her to give me 2 cards, I immediately ordered the drinks from her and went out again. At the time we were studying the menu, our drinks arrived within 5 minutes. We ordered our food and the extremely nice waitress informed us that she was also serving outside today, even more plus points. The food is typically German and delicious, large menu, lots of choice, lots of drinks. Price performance was great. The two of us sat there for almost 2 hours and drank and ate well, in the end we paid 45 euros. The ambience of the house is very appealing from the outside, but a little "old-fashioned" inside but very cozy. I can recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well. We'll be eating there again next year.
